Throughout this year's college football season I have compiled a solid 15-9 record, and I'm looking to continue my moderate success with the forecast on only two games for this weekend.

No. 1 Florida at South Carolina: This matchup has "trap game" written all over it for the Florida Gators. Florida, who's been playing un-Gator-like football ever since Tim Tebow was knocked out of the Kentucky game, is going into Columbia to take on a tough Steve Spurrier-coached squad.

Ever since that hit, Florida has been averaging a dismal 24.6 points per game (even with backup John Brantley and Tebow calling the signals), despite winning all five contests. In those five games, Tebow put up equally disappointing numbers for his standards (177.6 yards per game, 9 total TDs, 3 INTs).

South Carolina, on the other hand, would take those numbers from Florida any day, as its season in the SEC has been quite tough. Sophomore quarterback Sergio Garcia has been pleasantly surprising this season (126 rating, 2,421 yards, 13 TDs), but don't look for that success to continue against that vicious Florida defense.

The Gators' star linebacker Brandon Spikes will be back after his one-game suspension, and you can expect him to pump up himself and the rest of the crew. Florida will go into South Carolina and prove to all the critics it deserves that No. 1 BCS ranking. Gators over Gamecocks.

No. 10 Iowa at No. 11 Ohio State: This game will determine who wins the Big Ten. Both Iowa and Ohio State have identical 5-1 records coming into this game.

Ohio State is coming off an impressive 24-7 victory last week at then-No. 11 Penn State. Terrelle Pryor showed his coach, the conference and the rest of the country that he can stay poised in the pocket and keep a good balance between his running game and his cannon of an arm. He was efficient while passing for 125 yards and 2 TDs, and running for 50 yards on five rushes and another TD. If he can stay consistent against this Iowa defense, Ohio State will run away with this thing.

Adding to the Buckeyes' chances is the fact that Iowa's junior quarterback, Ricky Stanzi, is out for presumably the next few weeks with an ankle injury. His season was going great, passing for 2,186 yards and 15 TDs with a 130 QB rating, along with leading the Hawkeyes to a 9-0 start. But now freshman James Vandenberg will need to step in and garner the reins. He'll probably fail, especially playing in the Horseshoe for his first collegiate start.

For Ohio State, this should be a rout from the beginning. Buckeyes over Hawkeyes.
