DNA studies show thatat least 40% of Jewish males in Europe have J1 and J2 DNA which originates in the middle east.
Also the escape from Egypt, or whatever you call it, is confirmed in a reference in the Georgian Chronicles (Albanian version) translated by Robert Bedrosian.
Given these 3 facts, the whole theory of Mr Sands is highly questionable.
It appears he sought out facts to support a preconceived view.
