Near the end of Carla Cantrelle’s new play “Looking Up,” during one of the show’s many monologues, a character relates the following discovery about life: “That’s the hard part - knowing when to let it go. And what exactly to let go of.” This is true of all relationships, but the motif that Cantrelle utilizes to further explore the soaring heights and plunging drops of couplings is an exotic and quite appropriate one: trapeze.
