NYU officials disappointed with graduation streaker — surprise.

By Alvin Chang

If you haven’t heard — or saw — yet, a Tisch senior streaked across the field at Yankee Stadium during graduation. (I suppose it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.)

NYU spokesman John Beckman told Newsday that university officials are “disappointed” and it took away from the “pleasure and pride” or the ceremony.

I can only imagine the conversation at the big, round table that all the powerful administrators sit around. (Actually, it’s probably rectangular since I’ve never seen a round meeting table at NYU.)

Admin 1: I am deeply disappointed with the streaker.
Admin 2: Yes, it greatly took away from the pleasure and pride of graduation.
Admin 3: But you must admit it took some chutzpah.
Admin 1: Yes, of course.
Admin 2: Oh yes, chutzpah, indeed.

Chutzpah. (Last paragraph.)
